Sarah Moass

Sarah is a qualified EMDR Therapist, Psychological Therapist and Occupational Therapist. She specialises in mental health and psychological trauma and is the owner of Insero Therapy.

Experience

Sarah has worked within the health and care sector for the past 18 years, working within a variety of settings including the NHS, Independent Sectors and Private Practice. For most of this time, she worked as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner supporting individuals with a range of complex and enduring mental health issues.

Sarah also completes therapy for medico-legal companies and has a good knowledge of litigation and case management processes with her other role as a Case Manager. Here she supports individuals to manage their rehabilitation after they experience major life changes such as severe road traffic accidents or medical malpractice.

Sarah has a passion for supporting individuals with processing trauma and difficult life circumstances and provides them with a safe space to work towards their recovery and future aspirations in life.

This could be anything from post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms regarding previous trauma, phobias, managing increased anxiety to developing confidence and self-esteem, reducing stress levels, maintaining a positive mental well-being and much more.

Sarah appreciates that for some the idea of accessing support can be difficult. She feels strongly about using a person-centred approach to enable individuals to feel calm, understood and listened to from the onset. She views the therapeutic relationship of herself and clients as working together as a team.
